Radiation Therapy Technologist
Position Overview
The facility's Radiation Oncology department is seeking a Radiation Therapy Technologist for an 89-week contract. You'll deliver patient care in a fast-paced oncology setting, working standard weekday hours with predictable scheduling.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (8-hour days)
- Hours: 40 guaranteed weekly hours
- Contract Duration: 89 weeks
- Holiday Expectations: You must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 of the 3 minor holidays (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent, direct experience in radiation therapy
- Current AHA BLS certification
- ARRT (RRT) certification
What You'll Do
Position patients, operate radiation therapy equipment, and assist the radiation oncology team in delivering precise treatment to cancer patients. You'll maintain detailed records, follow safety protocols, and provide compassionate care to patients undergoing treatment.
