Catheterization Lab RN

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Catheterization Lab RN for a 12-month permanent position. You will circulate, scrub, and monitor procedural cases in a busy cath lab environment. Call rotation required; details to be discussed during the interview.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 5 days per week (8-hour shifts)
• Call requirements apply

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Ohio or compact)
• Minimum 1 year combined permanent experience in catheterization lab nursing
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (required at time of submission)
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in cath lab nursing, from the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Compliance & Testing

• Background check screening required
• 10-panel drug screen with nicotine testing (negative result required within 12 months of start, updated annually)
• ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments completed during orientation; acceptable scores required to continue
• BCI/FBI fingerprint clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing

Orientation & Ongoing Requirements

• Orientation includes competency assessments and online modules (average 6–15 hours)
• Annual hands-on competency required for contracts of 1+ years

Extension Options

Candidates may extend up to 18 months; a 6-month break follows, unless the facility approves otherwise.
