ICU RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced ICU RN for night shift work. This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- 13-week contract duration
- Start date: October 23, 2026
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months ICU experience
- Active Ohio license or compact state license (must be in hand at submission)
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (active and in hand at submission)
- One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from work within the past 12 months
Clinical Environment
You'll provide direct care to ICU patients in a collaborative interdisciplinary setting, managing high-acuity cases and supporting critical care outcomes.
Additional Requirements
- Background check and drug screening (must be clear)
- ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation (2 attempts maximum to pass)
- Annual hands-on competency modules for continuing contracts
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
What to Know
Candidates who extend may do so for up to 18 months; a 6-month break follows, though the facility may defer this on a case-by-case basis. If you've worked at this health system previously, a 1-year gap from your last end date is required before reapplying.
