OB Nursing Manager
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced RN to serve as OB Nursing Manager, overseeing patient care, nursing staff supervision, and obstetric operations. This role blends leadership and clinical practice — you'll manage the unit while maintaining hands-on bedside involvement as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care across the OB unit
- Collaborate with leadership to optimize clinical operations and resource management
- Support staff development and drive quality improvement initiatives
- Take on patient care shifts to maintain clinical skills and unit support
Requirements
- RN License, current in Colorado or a compact state
- Minimum 3 years OB nursing experience
- Leadership experience within the last 2 years
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred)
- Colorado adult protective services (CAPS) check required
Shift & Schedule
- Weekdays with on-call requirements
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Start date: September 29, 2026

Gunnison is a rural area without public transportation. Reliable personal transportation is essential.
