Labor and Delivery Nurse – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery nurse for a regional contract based in Greeley, Colorado, with potential float assignments to nearby locations as needed.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours scheduled / 24 hours guaranteed per week
- 13-week contract
- Subject to weekend, holiday, float, and on-call requirements per department guidelines
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform (preferred)
- Provide couplet care for postpartum mothers and babies
- Circulate OR cases
- Assist with baby admits and attend deliveries (preferred)
- Demonstrate multi-skill competency across labor, delivery, postpartum, and OR settings
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of Labor and Delivery experience with recent experience in the last 12 months
- Current licenses and certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, AFM (from AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
- Active Colorado state license to practice (clean record)
- Valid driver's license
- Return-to-Origin (RTO) not to exceed 7 days; no RTO during the first week of assignment
Preferred Qualifications
- Travel nursing experience
- Flexibility with multiple locations and departments
What to Expect
Hospital-issued scrubs provided. Candidates must be ready to start on or within one week of the listed start date and prepared to accept assignment parameters regarding location, shift, and department flexibility.
