Labor & Delivery Nurse – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse for a 13-week assignment. You'll work a day shift (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed per week. Hospital-issued scrubs are required.
Clinical Scope & Responsibilities
This is a multiskilled L&D role. You'll manage , provide couplet care for postpartum mothers and babies, circulate in OR cases, and assist with baby admits and deliveries. You must be comfortable floating to other facilities within the region as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of Labor & Delivery experience with recent activity in the last 12 months
- Colorado state license (no restrictions)
- Current certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN/AFM
- Valid driver's license
- Active license verified within the last 30 days
- LD skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
Schedule & Flexibility
- Subject to weekend, holiday, float, and call requirements per department guidelines
- Must be available to start by October 26, 2026 (no more than one week delay)
- No time off during the first week of assignment
- Travel experience is highly preferred
