Interventional Radiology Technologist

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract in a fast-paced interventional suite. You'll support a diverse range of high-acuity procedures in a dynamic clinical environment.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 × 10-hour days: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Rotating day off
• On-call: Every third weekend plus one weekday per month (approximately 8 days/month)
• Start date: Monday, October 25, 2026

Required Experience & Skills

• Extensive C-arm experience in orthopedic and neuro interventional cases
• Proficiency in neuro interventional procedures, including stroke thrombectomy
• Solid background in PE thrombectomy/lysis and trauma embolization
• AHA BLS certification (required)

Orientation & Compliance

• Orientation begins Monday with 16 hours of non-billable online modules
• Relias EKG testing required within 72 hours of signing (two attempts allowed)
• Drug screening: Complete 12–14 calendar days prior to start
• Fit testing: Facial hair must be trimmed/removed per CDC guidelines

Travel Requirements

Permanent residence must be 100 miles or greater from the facility's service area.

Additional Details

• Flexible scheduling based on hospital census
• Hospital may call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty
• Additional shifts available as overtime if needed
