Night ICU RN – 13-Week Contract

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3 days per week
• Every other weekend
• Float required to medical/surgical units
• 13-week contract

About the Role

You'll work in a busy ICU managing high-acuity patients across cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and GI conditions. Your patient population ranges from young adults to geriatric patients, including those on ventilators, titratable drips, post-operative patients, and those experiencing substance abuse withdrawal.

Clinical Scope

• Arterial lines, central lines, intubations, and chest tube management
• Ventilator management and weaning protocols
• Continuous IV sedation and neuromuscular blockade
• Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
• Acute stroke and CVA management
• Hypothermia protocols
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Procedural sedation monitoring
• ABG interpretation and management of respiratory failure

Requirements

• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current NY RN license (must be in hand)
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications
• Candidates must be located more than 75 miles from the facility

What You'll Wear

Navy and white scrubs (any combination)

Support

Interdisciplinary team includes respiratory therapy, IV teams, pharmacy, rapid response, and social services.
