Registered Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the team on a night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You will deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients, supervise nursing staff activities, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze patient health data using established nursing standards and the nursing process
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and diagnoses
- Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned nursing staff
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote a safe, healing environment
- Educate patients and families on health topics and treatment plans
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate tasks appropriately and manage team coordination
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience (3+ years preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current BLS certification
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification
- Recent experience with electronic health records systems
Assignment Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 36 or 48-hour blocks (no special scheduling accommodations)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- Location: Bakersfield, CA
