Position Overview

The facility is seeking an Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in Asheville, NC.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (nights)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 1 full-time position available

About the Role

You'll work in a fast-paced emergency setting, managing acute and emergency patients across the full spectrum of presentations. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in dynamic environments and can quickly assess and respond to changing patient needs.

Requirements

• Current RN license (North Carolina)
• Active BLS certification required
• Emergency department experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to variable patient volumes

A collaborative, resourceful nurse who communicates effectively with interdisciplinary teams and remains calm under pressure. You should be comfortable with independent decision-making while consulting with physicians and specialists as needed.
