Progressive Care Unit – RN
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract: 13 weeks
Start Date: July 20, 2026
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced RN for a progressive care unit managing patients with acute neurological and trauma conditions. You'll provide direct patient care in a structured, collaborative environment where clinical excellence and teamwork are central to daily operations.
Clinical Focus
The unit specializes in neuro and trauma care, including:
- Neurological and spinal assessments
- Cervical collar and brace placement (C-Collar, TLSO)
- Chest tube and PCA pump management
- IV infusions and blood transfusions
- Lumbar drain care
- Feeding tube placement
Requirements
- Current Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Clinical Experience: Neuro and trauma care required
- Floating: You may float to stepdown and med-surg units as needed
- Schedule: Every other weekend; 36 guaranteed hours per week
