Medical-Surgical RN – Comprehensive Medical Unit | Nights | Zanesville, OH

This 13-week travel contract places you on a comprehensive medical unit with float coverage across several med-surg service lines. The position begins November 16th and is open to travelers who have not worked at this facility within the past nine months.

Schedule & Hours

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week / three 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirement
• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract

Clinical Scope

You'll work primarily on a comprehensive medical unit and float as needed to med-surg areas serving stroke, oncology, cardiac, observation, and ED boarder populations. Telemetry monitoring and interpretation are core responsibilities — candidates will be assessed on telemetry competency on day one.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of current, recent Telemetry and/or Step-Down RN experience
• Demonstrated telemetry rhythm interpretation skills (competency tested on day one)
• Active BLS certification
• Proficient electronic medical record skills — must be independently functional without refresher training or one-on-one support; please ensure this proficiency is clearly documented in your submission
• Active RN license (or eligibility in Ohio)

• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission; late RTO requests cannot be guaranteed
