Chemotherapy Treatment Nurse – Oncology
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Chemotherapy Treatment Nurse to provide chemotherapy administration and care to adult patients in an ambulatory oncology setting. This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift & Schedule
- 10-hour day shifts: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Monday–Friday (no weekends or holidays)
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
- No float required
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy to adult patients in the treatment area
- Provide direct patient care and monitoring during treatment
- Collaborate with the oncology care team
Required Qualifications
- Current MA Nursing License
- Chemotherapy Certification
- 2+ years of oncology nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Ambulatory care and chemotherapy administration experience
Important Requirements
- Flu vaccination required (September; medical exemptions only)
- Weekly orientation begins Mondays (as scheduled)
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
- Candidates who have worked at the facility as permanent or per diem staff within the past year are not eligible
