RN Circulator – Operating Room

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN Circulator to join its surgical team. You will coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process, ensuring the operating room is properly prepared, maintaining a sterile environment, and serving as a key advocate for patient safety.

Shift & Duration

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call obligations required

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies
• Verify patient identity and procedure details
• Monitor patients during surgery and document care accurately
• Maintain a safe, sterile environment
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient procedures
• Advocate for patient safety throughout all surgical phases

Clinical Scope

The surgical unit provides a wide range of services, including general surgery, bariatrics, gynecology, robotics, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and select vascular cases.

Requirements

• Current RN license (verification required)
• Minimum 3 years of operating room experience
• ACLS certification
• Required immunizations and health screenings (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B, influenza, TB screening, and 2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Professional references
• Background check and drug screening
