Labor & Delivery RN – 7am–7pm
Location: Wichita, KS
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Contract: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 guaranteed per week
About the Unit
Join a collaborative labor & delivery team managing a full spectrum of obstetric care. You'll provide direct patient care in an active delivery setting, supporting low-risk inductions through high-risk labor management and cesarean sections. The unit handles antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum patients with varying acuity levels.
Patient Care & Scope
- Perform cesarean circulations, inductions, artificial rupture of membranes, intrauterine pressure catheter placement, and fetal monitoring
- Work in a team nursing environment where nurses actively support one another
- Collaborate with a new OB Hospitalist program that provides attending physician coverage
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year current hospital L&D RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM-C or AWHONN certification
- Preferred: high-risk LDR and cesarean circulating experience
