Night Shift Medical/Surgical RN – Medical/Surgical & Colorectal/Bariatrics

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Medical/Surgical unit with a focus on colorectal and bariatric patients. You'll work nights in a dynamic inpatient setting providing direct patient care, assessments, and post-operative support.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 12-hour shifts, 7 PM–7 AM
• Hours: 36 per week
• Weekend Commitment: One shift per week or two shifts every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Must work at least one holiday during the contract
• Block Scheduling: Available upon request (not guaranteed)

Requirements

• Active New York RN License
• AHA BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years acute hospital experience
• At least 1 recent year in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for international candidates
• Willingness to be flexible with schedule adjustments as needed
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Clinical Notes

You'll care for post-operative colorectal and bariatric patients, requiring strong assessment skills and familiarity with this patient population's specific needs. Charge experience is valued but not required.
