MRI Technologist — 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility seeks an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the direction of the MRI Supervisor and Director of Radiology. You will establish and oversee MRI scanning protocols, manipulate patients, select imaging techniques, calibrate equipment, and obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Daily responsibilities include quality control checks, data analysis, protocol compliance, and ensuring image integrity.
Schedule & Contract Details
- Shift: 12-hour days
- Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Thursday: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: 91 per contract week
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years current MRI experience in a hospital setting
- ARRT Certification (required; verification must accompany submission)
- New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License (or equivalent; temporary license available with quick turnaround)
- Active American Heart Association BLS
- Personal vehicle required for commute
- Permanent address within 50+ miles of the facility
Scheduling & Time Off
- All time-off requests (maximum 5 days) must be submitted during profile upload
- No scheduling changes approved after offer or during interview
- You must work two holiday blocks if scheduled:
- Thanksgiving Day and Friday after
- Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after
- New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after
Dress Code
Hospital blue scrubs or business casual with lab coat; plain personal scrubs acceptable. Closed-toe shoes (sneakers or clogs). Hair pulled back if longer than shoulder length; no dangling earrings or hooded sweatshirts.
Medical Compliance
All occupational health and medical compliance items must be ordered and completed within 5 days of offer acceptance.
