Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Rehabilitation Nurse for its inpatient rehab unit. This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
- Schedule: Every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Float Policy: May be floated to other medical-surgical departments as needed
Unit Details
Clinical Responsibilities
- Medication administration including IVs, PICC lines, and PEG tube feeding
- Bladder scans, Foley catheter management, and bladder irrigation
- Tracheostomy care and tube feeding
- Blood administration
- Vital signs monitoring and patient assessments
Requirements
- Current BLS certification
- Active Virginia nursing license
- Rehabilitation nursing experience (required)
- Medical-surgical nursing experience (preferred)
