Emergency Department RN – 12-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN for a 12-week contract assignment. You'll work in a fast-paced acute care environment managing high-acuity trauma, stroke, sepsis, cardiac, and CHF patients.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour shifts: 3p–3a or 7p–7a (evening/night rotation)
- Weekends: Every other weekend required
- Holidays: Every other holiday required
- Self-scheduling available
- Guaranteed 48 hours/week
- No call or standby requirement
Clinical Environment
- Daily volume: 80–90 patients
- Fast track and areas available (occasional responsibility for travelers)
- ER holds managed by nursing staff
- In-house security present
- Respiratory therapy on-site; you'll be responsible for reading ECG rhythms
- X-ray and CT available adjacent to the ED
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years ED experience
- Current licenses & certifications: RN license, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENPC
- Scrubs: Navy

Contract Details
- 84-week assignment opportunity
- Comprehensive unit-specific orientation provided
- Flexible cancellation policy (4 shifts per 13-week assignment)
- Floating to other qualified units as needed
