Position Overview
The facility is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the rehabilitation team. You'll work day shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) on a 13-week contract, providing patient-centered care in a community-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans addressing physical, social, and mental function restoration
- Deliver therapy interventions using established clinical protocols and techniques
- Create and communicate discharge plans with the care team and patients
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Supervise occupational therapy assistants
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD)
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in California
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor
- Two years of occupational therapy experience preferred
Additional Information
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
