CVICU Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced CVICU nurse for a 90-week contract assignment working night shifts in a cardiovascular intensive care unit.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- 90-week contract duration
- Start date: November 9, 2026
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
Clinical Environment
You'll deliver high-acuity care to post-cardiac surgery patients, hemodynamically unstable patients, and those requiring advanced cardiac monitoring and interventions. The unit focuses on critical cardiovascular conditions requiring intensive nursing assessment and skilled intervention.
