Med Surg Tele

Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Rochester, NY | 16-Week Contract

This is an opportunity to join a newly opened Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The unit provides care for general medical and telemetry patients requiring cardiac monitoring and acute nursing management across a range of diagnoses.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday worked per contract period

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience
• At least 1 recent year in Med/Surg or Telemetry
• International candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history

Licenses & Certifications

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification

Additional Details

• Contract duration: 16 weeks (start date: October 27, 2026)
• Float to other units required based on facility needs
• Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
