Med Surg Tele

Medical/Telemetry RN — Travel Contract | Rochester, NY

This is a newly opened Medical/Telemetry unit seeking experienced RNs for a 16-week travel assignment. The unit provides care for a general medical and telemetry patient population requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and acute nursing intervention.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Night/Day rotation available
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday required per contract

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience
• At least 1 recent year in Med/Surg or Telemetry
• Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history
• Active New York RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Charge experience preferred but not required

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks | Start: October 27, 2026
• Float to other units required as needed
• Block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Schedule flexibility required to meet unit staffing needs
