Med/Surg Telemetry RN – Night Shift | Rochester, NY
Join a newly opened Med/Surg Telemetry unit on a 16-week travel contract, with a target start date of late October 2026.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- At least 1 holiday worked per contract period
Clinical Scope
This is a medical/telemetry unit providing care to adult patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring alongside general medical management. Nurses should be comfortable managing a monitored patient population across a range of acuity levels. Charge experience is requested but not required.
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience, with at least 1 recent year in med/surg or telemetry
- Non-U.S. trained candidates must have 2 years of U.S. clinical work history
Additional Details
- Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs
- Schedule flexibility is expected to meet the facility's operational needs
- Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify
