Telemetry RN – Medical Surgical / ED Boarding | Night Shift | Burlington, MA

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks | Start: October 26, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Guaranteed hours: 72 biweekly (excluding on-call time)

Unit Overview

This role supports a telemetry boarding unit within the Emergency Department, caring for patients awaiting inpatient bed placement. The unit averages approximately 40 patients daily, with a focus on continuous telemetry monitoring and stable-to-moderate acuity med-surg telemetry patients. Float is not required.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) — current
• Demonstrated experience caring for boarding patients in the ED (must be reflected on resume)
• Day 1 telemetry competency testing required; must pass within 2 attempts during onboarding

Additional Details

• Scrubs: any color
• Orientation: weekly schedule
• Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
• Candidates must have been separated from this facility for a minimum of 6 months and be in good standing
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission; minimal time off will be considered
