Surgical Technologist – Operating Room

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. You will scrub and circulate cases across multiple specialties including robotic, GU, GYN, and general surgery in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 4 x 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 23, 2026
• Call: On-call for nights and weekends required
• Team Approach: Accurate counts, specimen handling, and collaborative teamwork are essential

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of recent, permanent OR experience prior to travel
• Active AHA BLS certification (required at time of submission)
• Valid permanent Ohio license or compact license at time of submission
• Professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from an assignment within the past 12 months (manager-level references only; peer references will not be accepted)
• All certifications must be active and in hand; no pending credentials accepted

Additional Information

• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Background checks and BCI/FBI prints required within 48 hours of contract signing
• Pre-start and annual modules (6–15 hours) with 4 billable hours
• Eligible to extend up to 18 months; 6-month break required thereafter
• Only one job submission within the health system at a time
