Medical-Surgical Oncology Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a registered nurse for its medical-surgical oncology unit. You'll provide direct patient care to oncology patients across a range of acuity levels, supporting chemotherapy administration, post-operative recovery, symptom management, and palliative care needs.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Weekends as scheduled
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 2 shift cancellations permitted per 13-week contract period
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks

- Location: Wheeling, WV
- Geographic requirement: 50-mile radius
Requirements
- Current RN license (any state)
- BLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
- Valid, unexpired driver's license
- Any licensing hits or disciplinary history must be disclosed at time of submission
What You'll Need to Know
This is an acute-care oncology assignment. The role involves standard medsurg nursing responsibilities including patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and communication with the care team. BSN not required; associate degree welcome.
