Interventional Radiologic Technologist — Travel Contract

Rochester, NY | 13 Weeks | Day Shift

This is a full-time travel opportunity for an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist working across three active service lines: Vascular, Interventional Radiology, and Neuro IR. Cardiac/Cath Lab experience is not required.

Shift & Schedule

• 5x8 or 4x10 shifts; hours are 9:30 AM–6:00 PM or 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
• Weekday call: one shift per week, beginning at 5:30/6:00 PM and running through 7:00 AM the following morning (Monday–Thursday)
• Rotating weekend call: Friday 5:30/6:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM (split into 12-hour increments)
• Approximately 3–4 on-call weekend shifts per contract

Scrubs: Navy and white combination

Clinical Scope

You'll perform a wide range of procedures on adult and geriatric patients, including:

• Angiography (adrenal, renal, mesenteric, pelvic, genitourinary, selective visceral)
• Angioplasty and stent placement (including renal artery and ureteral)
• Embolization, chemoembolization, and uterine arterial embolization
• IVC filter placement and removal
• ERCP, cholecystostomy, gastrostomy, nephrostomy
• Paracentesis, thoracentesis, liver biopsy
• Endovascular interventions; vascular closure systems
• Room circulator and scrub roles; sterile field maintenance

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of IR/vascular/neuro experience
• ACLS and BLS required
• Active New York state license required at time of submission
• Prior travel experience required
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible
• Floating across service lines is required
