Medical-Surgical Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical nurse for a 90-week contract assignment in a fast-paced clinical environment. You'll work the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a consistent 3 × 12-hour schedule, providing direct patient care and supporting the nursing team.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Strong peridialysis experience essential
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
• Current RN licensure in Georgia

Role Details

You'll manage a patient assignment in a unit serving patients across the Medical-Surgical spectrum, with a focus on peridialysis care. Your responsibilities include direct patient care, medication administration, monitoring, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes.

• Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours: 36 hours per week (3 × 12-hour shifts)
• Duration: 90 weeks
