Medical-Surgical Nurse – Nights
Position Details
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical nurse for its orthopedic and neurology units. This is a night shift role working 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week).
Schedule & Duration
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Contract: 90 weeks
- Guaranteed hours each week
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Strong background in orthopedics and neurology preferred
- Current Georgia or compact nursing license
- AHA BLS certification
What You'll Do
You'll provide direct patient care on a busy orthopedic and neurology unit, managing post-operative orthopedic patients, neurology cases, and general medical-surgical populations. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, mobility assistance, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team during night shifts.
What We're Looking For
A dependable, detail-oriented nurse comfortable with the night shift schedule and able to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment. Experience with orthopedic and neuro patient populations is valued.
