Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry Nurse for a 13-week contract on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You'll work three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total) in a fast-paced telemetry unit monitoring and caring for cardiac patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuous cardiac monitoring and patient assessment
- IV insertion and PICC line placement
- Medication administration and patient education
- Collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of Telemetry nursing experience
- Active Georgia state or compact nursing license
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Demonstrated proficiency with IV insertion and PICC line procedures
