Cardiac Telemetry Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cardiac Telemetry Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll provide continuous cardiac monitoring and nursing care to telemetry patients on the night shift.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 × 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 36 hours per week
- Guaranteed hours
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of cardiac telemetry nursing experience
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current RN license
What You'll Do
Monitor patients on continuous cardiac telemetry, respond to dysrhythmias, assess vital signs, administer cardiac medications, and communicate changes in patient status to the care team. You'll work in a fast-paced telemetry unit caring for patients with cardiac conditions and post-cardiac interventions.
