PACU RN – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced PACU RN to join the post-operative recovery team on a 13-week contract.

Shift & Schedule

• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Atlanta, GA

Requirements

• Current Georgia or Compact RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 18 months hands-on PACU experience

Essential Clinical Skills

You must have demonstrated competency in:

• Craniotomy post-operative care
• Chest tube and lumbar drain management
• TURP/TURB with continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
• IV drip titration
• Arterial line (A-line) management

Role Responsibilities

In this fast-paced recovery environment, you'll provide direct post-operative care to patients emerging from anesthesia. You may also manage ICU-level patients in PACU until an ICU bed becomes available, requiring flexibility and strong critical-thinking skills.
