Medical-Surgical Nurse – Travel Assignment

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total), scheduled 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM on the day shift.

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Active Georgia or Compact License (in hand)

Preferred Qualifications

• Travel nursing experience
• Chemotherapy Certification

Assignment Details

• Shift: AM, three 12-hour shifts weekly
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 90 weeks
• Location: Johns Creek, Georgia

About the Role

You'll provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting, managing patients across various diagnoses and acuity levels. The role requires strong assessment skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment.

What We're Looking For

A self-directed nurse with solid clinical fundamentals, the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Prior travel experience is a plus but not required.
