Surgery RN – Head & Neck and General Surgery

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Surgery RN for its head and neck surgery unit. You'll provide perioperative care for patients undergoing general surgery, bariatric procedures, and head and neck surgical interventions, including care for patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract
• Start date: November 9, 2026

Requirements

• RN license: Georgia or Compact state license (current and in hand)
• AHA BLS certification
• Demonstrated surgical nursing experience and strong clinical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced perioperative environment

Clinical Focus

This role demands expertise in surgical patient care across multiple specialties. You'll support complex cases involving airway management, head and neck reconstruction, and bariatric and general surgical procedures. Strong assessment skills, attention to detail, and collaborative communication with the surgical team are essential.
