Labor & Delivery RN — Night Shift | Canton, OH

This night-shift travel opportunity places you in an active Labor & Delivery unit managing a diverse patient population across multiple care settings. Assignment responsibilities include laboring and induction patients, antepartum care, and a circulating role in the OB-OR.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3×12-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of permanent (staff) Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Active, in-hand Ohio permanent or compact RN license at time of submission
• Active certifications required at submission — no pending certifications accepted:
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE
• One professional reference from a direct supervisor (manager, ANM, or director) within the past 12 months; peer/co-worker references are not accepted

Preferred Experience

• Obstetric electronic charting experience is a plus

Orientation & Assessments

• ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score is required (maximum of 2 attempts)
• Pre-start modules average 6–15 hours and are partially billable

Additional Requirements

• Background check required; open cases are not accepted
• No active license restrictions accepted
• Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
