Med Surg Tele

Medical-Surgical Telemetry | Travel Nurse | Night Shift | Canton, OH

This 13-week travel assignment places you on a night-shift Med-Surg Telemetry unit, caring for a general medical-surgical population with continuous cardiac monitoring needs. Shifts run 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Holiday rotation required (at least every other holiday)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of permanent (staff) experience in Med-Surg Telemetry
• Active Ohio RN license or multi-state compact license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) and ACLS — must be in hand, no pending certifications accepted
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to start
• ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments completed during orientation; two attempts maximum to pass
• One professional reference from a direct supervisor, manager, ANM, or director in the same specialty — from within the past 12 months; co-worker references not accepted
• No open licensing or background issues

Additional Requirements

• COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Background and fingerprint check must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Candidates may extend up to 18 months continuously; a 6-month break is required thereafter
