Stepdown Nursing – 12-Hour Day Shifts
Position Overview
Join the stepdown unit for a 42-week contract in an acute care setting. You'll provide skilled nursing care to patients transitioning from higher acuity levels, managing post-operative recovery, telemetry monitoring, and intermediate-level medical-surgical cases.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 12-hour days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Staffing: Every other weekend (EOW)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Length: 42 weeks
Requirements
- Current RN license (required to submit)
- ACLS (AHA) certification
- BLS (AHA) certification
- BSN not required
What to Know
- Fast-paced acute care environment with supportive team culture
- Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per 13-week assignment; 3 shifts for assignments under 13 weeks
- Onboarding support and assignment guidance provided
