CVICU – Cardiovascular Intensive Care | Night Shift | Little Rock, AR

This is a high-acuity cardiovascular ICU role supporting a busy CV service line managing some of the most complex cardiac patients in the region. The unit handles a full spectrum of cardiovascular critical care — everything short of transplant.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week

Contract Details

• Duration: 42 weeks
• Start date: October 26, 2026
• Cancellation policy: Up to 4 shifts may be canceled per 13-week period (3 shifts for shorter assignments)

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with ECMO, Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), and ventricular assist devices (VAD) is essential
• Ability to manage high-acuity, hemodynamically complex cardiovascular patients

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS

Additional Requirements

• Active RN license (required prior to submission)
• BSN not required
• Acute care setting
