Emergency Observation – Registered Nurse | Rochester, NY
Nights | 16-Week Contract | Start: October 27, 2026
This travel RN opportunity is based in a dedicated Emergency Observation unit providing 24-hour observation care. Staff may also assist with ED boarder patients awaiting inpatient admission.
Shift Details
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week (3 x 12s, rotating)
- One weekend shift per contracted week, or two weekend shifts every other weekend
- At least one holiday shift required per contract
- Blocked scheduling available: rotating or fixed blocks (Thu/Fri/Sat, Fri/Sat/Sun, or Sat/Sun/Mon)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in an emergency or observation setting
- Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history
- Active New York RN license
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- AHA BLS and PALS

- Duration: 16 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 112
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
