Interventional Radiology Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work day shift, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, in a fast-paced interventional radiology suite.
About the Role
You'll support interventional radiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities include patient positioning, equipment setup, monitoring, and maintaining sterile technique. You'll assist with a variety of cases including vascular interventions, drainage placements, biopsies, and other image-guided procedures.
Requirements
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- Interventional Radiology (IR) certification or willingness to obtain it preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience in an interventional setting highly valued
- BLS certification required
