Labor & Delivery Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Labor & Delivery nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a full-time position with guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (nights)
- Location: Marion, NC
Role & Responsibilities
You'll provide direct patient care to laboring and postpartum women, assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, monitoring maternal and fetal status, and supporting families through the birthing process. You'll work collaboratively with obstetric physicians, CNMs, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compassionate care.
Requirements
- Current RN license (NC)
- Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work nights and occasional on-call shifts as needed
