RN – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry

Night shift, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

13-week contract

Start date: November 13, 2026

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its medical-surgical/telemetry unit. You'll provide direct patient care, monitor telemetry strips, and respond to acute changes in a fast-paced night environment.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 12 months of permanent MS/Tele experience required
• Licensure: Permanent the facility license or active compact license in hand at time of submission
• Certifications: Current BLS (American Red Cross) and ACLS required; NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
• References: One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in your specialty (within past 12 months); charge RN references accepted
• Assessment: ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate will be completed during orientation; acceptable scores required (maximum 2 attempts per assessment)
• Background & Drug Screening: Clean background check required; negative 10-panel drug screen (including nicotine) within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Vaccines: COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Contract Details

Extensions available up to 18 months; 6-month break required thereafter.
