Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for night shift work. This is a 24-week contract role with potential for extension.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 x 12-hour nights: 19:00 – 07:30
• Weekends as needed
• Float assignments to multiple facility locations as required
• All scheduling requests and time-off needs must be communicated at time of application and confirmed during interview

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience as an RRT
• Active Ohio RRT license (required at submission)
• Current NBRC certification (required at submission)
• Current BLS certification (required at submission)
• Two professional references from a manager, supervisor, or director in respiratory care (from assignments within the past 12 months; co-worker references not accepted)
• Nicotine-free status (facility is smoke-free with no exceptions)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen + nicotine screening within 12 months of start date; annual renewal required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• BCI/FBI background clearance completed within 48 hours of contract signing

Additional Information

• Candidates may extend up to 18 months; a 6-month break follows, though the facility may waive this on a case-by-case basis
• Annual hands-on competency required if you attended facility orientation in a prior year and remain on continuous assignment
• Pre-start and annual compliance modules required (up to 4 billable hours annually)
• Comprehensive work history, including any prior facility positions, must be included in your profile
