CVICU RN – 12-Hour Nights
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced ICU RN for a 6-week contract in the cardiovascular ICU, working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This is a high-acuity unit caring for post-operative cardiac and transplant patients. You will be part of a fast-paced team and must be flexible and open to floating based on competency.

Requirements
- 3+ years ICU experience with previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Background working in high-volume, busy hospital settings
- CRRT training required
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Ability to titrate vasoactive drips
- Valid RN license
Schedule & Expectations
- 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week guaranteed
- 6 weekend shifts required within the 6-week contract
- No call or standby requirement
- Floating out based on clinical competency
- Orientation: 2–3 shifts with preceptor
Staffing Support
Intensivist model with 24/7 RT support, charge nurse on unit with patient assignment, and 1 PCA per shift.
Details
Hardwired monitoring, teal scrubs. Must be flexible with scheduling. Parking available on and off campus.
