Cath Lab Technician – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to join a fast-paced interventional cardiology team. You'll work in a 2-suite lab performing high-volume cardiac and peripheral procedures in an acute care setting.
Shift & Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 10-hour days (0700–1700)
- Required on-call: approximately 12 days per month, including at least one weekend (Friday 1730–Monday 0700)
- Call response time: 30 minutes
- Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
Clinical Scope
- All cardiac invasive procedures (excluding structural heart interventions)
- Peripheral interventions: carotid work, A/V grafts, EVAR, peripheral diagnostics and interventions
- Average 8 cases per day
- Must be proficient scrubbing both cardiac and peripheral cases
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years cath lab experience
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
- BLS certification
- Valid state-issued ID
- No radiology license required
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Start: November 10, 2026
- Hospital-provided scrubs
- Orientation: 1–2 shifts, depending on experience level
Unit Support
24/7 access to pharmacy, IV team, and respiratory therapy. Cardiologist on-call support available.
