Med Surg Tele

Med/Surg Float Pool RN — Nights | Rochester, NY | 16-Week Contract

This float pool position places you across multiple Medical/Surgical Telemetry units, caring for acute-care patients across a range of diagnoses and acuity levels. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to different teams and patient populations, this role is a strong fit.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week (three 12-hour shifts)
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday required per contract
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed

Float Requirements

• Must be flexible to float between Med/Surg Telemetry units as needed
• Charge nurse experience is a plus, though not required

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks | Start: October 27, 2026
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute Med/Surg or Telemetry experience in a hospital setting
• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. clinical work experience
