Labor & Delivery Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility's Labor & Delivery unit is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week night shift assignment (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).Clinical Scope
Requirements
- Current RN license (state of Virginia)
- BLS and NRP certifications (required)
- ACLS and intermediate fetal monitoring (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
- Comfort with a mixed-acuity patient population
Staffing & Culture
The night shift team includes 1 charge nurse, 2 LDR nurses, and 1 nursery nurse. You'll work alongside a blend of experienced and newer nurses who are actively engaged in growing the unit. The team values communication, approachability, and teamwork.
Logistics
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, nights
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Dress Code: OR scrubs
