Cardiac, Vascular & Interventional Radiology Technologist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Cardiac, Vascular & Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a split lab environment. You'll rotate across cardiac catheterization, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures, working alongside a collaborative clinical team in a fast-paced setting.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 4 x 10-hour days (07:00–17:30)
• On-call: 9–10 days per month, including weekends
• Contract length: 12 weeks
• Start date: October 26, 2026
• Local candidates welcomed

Clinical Scope

You will support a range of advanced procedures, including:

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
• Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and stent placement
• Cardiac ablation, pacemaker/AICD insertion, and temporary pacing
• Vascular interventions: embolization, angiography, carotid and renal stenting
• Dialysis graft interventions and endovascular procedures
• Image-guided procedures: thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy, PICC placement
• Hemodynamic monitoring and arrhythmia management

Patient population: Adults and geriatrics (approx. 16 patients daily across 3 rooms)

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Current RN license (Georgia or compact state)
• ACLS, BLS certifications required
• ARRT R or RCIS credential required
• Float capability within facility scope of practice
• Full compliance with onboarding prior to start

Holiday Coverage

You are expected to work major holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if they fall during your assignment period.
