Endoscopy Nurse – Outpatient Center
Position Overview
Join an outpatient endoscopy center performing elective procedures. You'll support diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy for patients aged 18–95, with common cases including colorectal cancer screenings and evaluation of rectal bleeding.
Shift & Schedule
- Rotating 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Varying start times (to be discussed during initial call)
- No on-call responsibilities
- No weekend requirements
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Clinical Environment
The endoscopy suite includes 4 procedure rooms with 5 pre-op and 5 PACU bays. Floating between areas as needed is required. Scrubs: any color.
Requirements
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification
- SGNA certification preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of endoscopy nursing experience
- Current Massachusetts RN license
- Valid driver's license
What We're Looking For
- Documented travel nursing experience (first-time travelers considered)
- Strong procedural knowledge and patient assessment skills
- Ability to work flexibly within a fast-paced outpatient setting
- Two recent manager/supervisor references from your specialty
